My love affair with photography ignited the day my husband brought home our very first digital camera, a humble Nikon Coolpix. That simple device sparked a passion that has led me through a succession of increasingly capable cameras. My current arsenal includes a Canon Rebel T3i with its two essential kit lenses, a powerful Canon SX50HS, and my trusty Google Pixel 8 Pro, whose excellent camera now fills the void left by a mysteriously departed point-and-shoot.

My photographic eye captures almost anything that catches my interest, a habit my cats have learned to anticipate with dramatic escape maneuvers. Their determined efforts to sabotage my shots, however, have unexpectedly turned me into a budding action photographer! This creative energy has also recently drawn me into the realm of digital art, where I’m enthusiastically experimenting with a graphics tablet and various painting and vector graphics programs.
